Atakan was born in Sarıyer, Istanbul, in 1985. While studying computer engineering, he entered the media industry in Turkey in 2005, working as an assistant actor in cinema and TV series productions to support his university tuition. In 2009, Atakan chose to continue his career behind the camera, dedicating the next 13 years to various productions and steadily progressing from Assistant to Advertising Producer on numerous local and a few international projects. Today, he continues to work in his field in Canada, in line with his career aspirations.
